Money doesn't grow on trees! Or does it?

I recently found this healthy looking money plant in my colleague's office and congratulated him on taking such good care of it. With a confused expression I was asked to clarify. If you rub the money plant's little leaves daily they will not only shine but should also bring in cash.

Credible or not we love to believe this myth , along with others like the 4- leafed clover or fairies at the bottom of the garden and not forgetting leprechauns which I'm sure has an equivalent in Italy....let me know!
